Artist's statement:
I love combining organic and geometric abstraction. These smooth lines and shapes are inspired by nature. Perhaps it’s influenced by my experience in dance, as the brush needs to move widely and rhythmically across the canvas for such strokes. The geometric motifs and ornaments come from carpets, towels, something from my childhood. I really love geometric abstract patterns. They give a sense of structure and confidence. It’s like there’s a clear order in every chaos, just not everyone can see it.
